UV&S is proud to announce the promotion of Dalton Murphy to Director of Technology Services, effective May 2025. Murphy’s promotion reflects a decade of growth and contributions within the organization, as well as UV&S’s commitment to nurturing talent and rewarding excellence from within.
Murphy began his journey with UV&S as an intern and steadily advanced through a range of roles across the technical and sales teams. Along the way, he discovered a passion for pre-sales engineering—bridging the gap between complex technologies and impactful business outcomes. He served most recently as Business Development Manager and Solutions Architect. Over the years, he has held roles including Technical Team Member, Systems Administrator, and Sales Engineer.
“Dalton has consistently shown the ability to lead, inspire, and adapt,” said Dan Reisig, VP of Technology and Innovation. “His deep understanding of both technology and business outcomes makes him the ideal leader for our technology division.”
His promotion follows a strategic organizational shift in 2024, when Dan Reisig transitioned from VP of Technology to VP of Technology and Innovation. In his expanded role, Reisig will focus more fully on driving innovation across the company while Murphy takes on responsibility for UV&S’s technical strategy, team development, and ongoing enhancements to technology services. His appointment marks a new chapter for the tech team and supports UV&S’s broader growth strategy.
Reflecting on his journey, Murphy said: “I began my journey over ten years ago as an intern while attending WSU. I soon joined the technical team, where I spent several years honing my skills and gaining a deeper understanding of our customers' needs. After discovering a strong passion for pre-sales engineering, I moved into a full-time sales role and later into management. I’m excited for this new challenge and to apply everything I’ve learned to lead our technology division.”
Murphy’s promotion illustrates UV&S’s long-standing belief in internal growth and talent development. His story is a testament to the culture that defines UV&S—one where learning, leadership, and loyalty are valued and rewarded.
